We built ours first

The honest way to sell an idea is to run your own business on it, so this case study is about us. Designar Studio's operations run on a business brain we built for ourselves: every client, website, project, contact and invoice lives as structured, plain-text knowledge that both the team and our AI tools can read. Not a wiki that goes stale, a working memory that maintains itself.

What is actually in it

One file per client, one per site, one per project, cross-linked like a map of the business. The reference build currently tracks over 30 clients and around 70 managed websites, with the full invoice history mirrored in alongside rate cards and subscriptions. A dashboard on top makes it browsable, but the real consumers are the AI agents that do the daily work.

What it does while we sleep

Every morning at 07:00 the brain refreshes itself: it pulls the last day of email and client chat, mirrors new invoices, checks the health of the site fleet, files what it learned into the right places, and then decides whether anything deserves attention. If a payment failed, a domain renews this week or an invoice sits unpaid, a short digest lands on the phone. If nothing is actionable, it stays quiet. No inbox archaeology, no Monday spent reconstructing what happened.
